Search for product from Caroline's Treasures to Add to your Shopify Store

You have installed the Rescue Fundraiser app in your Shopify Store and you are now ready to start adding products.

You can search by keywords in the "search box"

You can search by a particular breed of dog, cat, rabbit etc.

You can search by a particular stock number of a Caroline's Treasures product.

Go to our website and pick some products that you might want to carry. We are still in the process of adding new products and adding products on the app. Email us if you are not able to find something and we can help get it added to your store. You can always use the "Email support" link at the bottom of the app screen.

You can also browse product through some of our broad categories.

Search for Boston Terrier Products to add to your Shopify Store

Here we search for "Boston Terrier Items". We can now browse through the items that have a Boston Terrier on them.

I like these luggage tags. I can add one product at a time by clicking on the Add to store below the retail and margin information on the product.

Notice that a red heart is now in the check box above the image of the item and there is now a 1 by the store icon at the top of the page. This means that I have sent the item to a "draft" mode to add to my store.

click on the My Products to see all of your selected products. Here you can see all of the Draft and Active Products. A product will not appear in your store until you make it active.

Click on the pencil icon to make your changes in the product information. Here you can change the title, description, and your selling price.

Notice that the price you will be charged is in the grey box. Here the cost of the two luggage tags is $7.88 and the US (3-6 day) shipping is $5.14. These costs are calculated by our wholesale price of $7.50 and a small fee to cover the costs of transferring funds to process the order. This is charged by the app and not by Caroline's Treasures. Most of the items that we manufacture cost from $2.99 to $19.99 for our heaviest items. Make sure to either include the shipping costs on your items and offer free shipping or to make sure that you set your shipping costs in your main Shopify settings to cover these shipping costs.

Click on the Save button when you have your prices set and you are ready to add the product to your Shopify Store.

You are now ready to activate your product on your store. Once you add your first product to an ACTIVE product, you will need to "Activate" your app.

Go to the upper right corner of the screen and see the circle with the outline of a person in it. Click on that icon to go to your account screen. Click on Account.

Click on the Activate Button.

This is the credit card that will be used to pay the costs of the products. You will only be charged the cost of the product and the shipping costs that were listed in the app.

Example: if you sold a customer the above luggage tags. You will be charged as we determined above --- the cost of the two luggage tags is $7.88 and the US (3-6 day) shipping is $5.14.

You may have already set your payment information inside your Shopify Store on the credit cards that you will take for payment from your customers.

Once you have activated your store. You can again go to your "My Products" and activate your products.

Under the keyword search field, you can also list the "Active" and "Draft" products.

To add all "Draft" products

Change the search Status to "Draft"
Click the check box next to All to select all of the Draft Products
Now click on the "Set to Active"

You can always click on the "Set to Active" icon to set each product active individually.
